Though it is merely a mini series, I believe that this really has some potential. That it go into a full-fledged doujin about Link and Midna eventually getting reunited and whatnot... Crap... You have the ability to give me inspiration for writing... 
I'd think this might be a cute side project to work on - seeing as WAW seems to be taking up most of your time. But hey, that's just my thoughts.

ah yes actually i've already thought about how i would do them meeting again they'd be older, midna will have graduated from highschool and link is a senior (lol she's a year older than him in the thing)
and any way he hasn't forgotten her nor she forgotten him. how ever the irony is this, link gets into a serious fight one day and leads into him getting into an accident putting him in the hospital. he'll be okay but he is diagnosed with temporary amnesia! to add on Midna is able to finally come back to see him and when she does he sadly does not remember her. he has not broken his promise! some where in the back of his mind her remembers her, and he'll end up falling in love with her even though he doesn't remember their child hood together, and then right when their in the climax of their relationship and midna (who is saddened by his loss of memory and tries subtly to help him remember but she doesn't want to plain out tell him because if she does his memory wont be as meaning ful he has to remember on his own now matter how tempted she may be to tell him and no matter how badly it hurts for him to not know she doesn't realize he's falling in love with her and he doesn't realize her feelings a very much mutual. Of course she doesn't realize she loves him herself until a bit later after she comes to see him) is just about ready to some how show him her feelings they discuss something i can't deside what yet though..and he remembers....
now his memory is sudden slowly he begins to remember that thought in the back of his head, a young girl when he was very small, and she was sweet to him, and he to her, and they'd become close friends but he could not remember her face or name for the life of him! but the slowly the memories come back!
hull! lol that was a long explination but an idea i have, and oh yeah! it also will show other memories of how kids were mean to her and she didn't care cause she didn't like any of them, and then link came to her a bit timid but wanting to be nice since he saw every one else was being mean. and at first she was cold to him and ignored him thinking he was trying to be tricky but it didn't take too long before he convinced her other wise, (those of course will be Midna's memories)
and link on the other hand will remember that it was hard for him to make friends and it was because he was nice to that one girl...who's name and face he cannot remember and of course he wont remember ANY of THAT until later on after midna comes to visit him.....memories one at a time will be comming back to him.
hehe does this make sense?
