"Link SAYS"... He, he talked?! D: (I know what you mean by that, but I just like the thought of him actually saying something. XD Maybe he just grunted and moaned everything like he always does. ... I... like the idea. XD)
Mayor is talking in a little accent, I see? I like it!
I also like the little change you used for the story flow of your revamp here! Sure, I loved it that Rose and Link had their little moment (when he saved her from falling down the "stairs") in the old version, but it makes a bit more sense, that he brings her to the mayor. Just because of the fact, that Rose's a complete stranger and it IS a bit weird if he would keep her in his house directly. :'D
And I have yet again to say how much I'm amazed how you've improved over the years. Their poses - and ESPECIALLY Rose' pose look absolutely lovely!

Well, when I first did this comic I had Link talk though as we know he does not do so in the games. It's just far easier or me to write him speaking (even if not too much) then not at all. I actually like the way the manga-ka team, Akira Himekawa did their LoZ manga so I take inspiration from that.
It's been so long since I played the game I wasn't sure how the mayor would sound so, ahaha, yeah, I tried to give him a dialect.
And yeah, I totally liked that too and I'm sure there will be room for other moments, BUT yeah, it makes a lot more sense to me (as I re-read the original stuff) that he'd bring her to the Mayor's place, ya know? lol. Besides I wasn't sure how he'd get her up that latter. I mean, I'm sure he could do it, but I don't see why he would. XD So thanks for noticing stuff like that! And THANKS for the Rose Pose comments. Hehehe. That makes me happy.
I am hoping that with this go around, I'll be able to give her a little more character than I had before. (I have so many ideas!)

I get what you mean. To draw a mute person trying to express himself is really hard. >_> Like you said, Akira Himekawa made him talk in her LoZ manga too - and that really didn't feel like it was "out of place" for him to do it. And to be honest, Link seems to talk in the games too, or how else are the characters able to reply to his statements. :'D Anyway, I don't mind it if Link talks from time to time and I really don't think that it's "bad" if it's easier for you like this, too.
Haha, I don't even know if the mayor had a dialect in the first place (then again, I only know the german version of the game and I'm pretty sure he had no dialect there), but it's a nice touch for him and suits him quite well, if you ask me. :'D
Pffft, sorry but the pictures of Link how he gets Rose up that latter just cracked me up a bit. XDD I never thought of that! XDDD And why... well... I don't know what's going on in Link's head? XDD But yeah, you're right it does make a lot mor sense that he brings her to the Mayor's place.
Oooh~ I'm looking forward to see what you have in mind for Rose' character now! <3
