Backstory: Krita was born to a loving pair of wolves, being the first and only pup during their eternal mateship as a result of low fertility, which Krita herself partly displays.

She grew strong and was promised to be a rather large female, capable of fulfilling many tasks required, but then she suddenly got struck by an illness, which grew into pneumonia in no time. During that period and later on she couldn’t eat properly, which resulted in her getting weaker and malnourished. Then, however, she made up for the lost time, but it was clear, that she’d be weaker than she was initially predicted to be as an adult. Besides, she got pneumonia right when her teeth were still developing, so she may have trouble with them when she gets older.

Krita inherited all the best from her parents: wisdom and patience from Arkell and pleasant appearance and kindness from Ilva.

Her mother was never that close with her sister, Ainu. They just loved each other as relatives usually do, nothing more, with each of them having their own small family to care for.

This distant relationship provoked Krita to develop her own way of communicating as she had always admired her mother’s reserved behaviour with her packmates in comparison to her tenderness and passion towards her own family.

Despite being the only child of an elderly couple, she was not spoiled, likewise, she was relatively smart for her young age as her parents tried their best to pass on every single bit of their knowledge gathered throughout their lives to Kritalyn. Sometimes she thought that was too much for her.

The eagerness for knowledge drove Krita to discover new horizons in her life. At some point she caught herself thinking she wanted to be none other but healer for her pack. With the Alphas' permission received, her apprenticeship began.

Her father died not long before the rebellion and Krita sometimes wonders if Sekido actually remembers Arkell, who always had a soft spot for pups (as well as Krita).

The betrayal of Ainu was a shock to her mother. Of course, Ilva had a slight hint her sister would go for the throne, but she never expected Ainu to take advantage of her own little son and attempt to kill him. All of this had strongly affected Krita as she started to take notice of features she shared with Ainu through her mother. But then, after a while, she made peace with herself, giving herself a mute promise she would never become anything like Ainu.

The death of her mother was taken surprisingly lightly by Krita. One might think she still mourns in silence and would be wrong. Kritalyn acknowledges well enough that every being has its own time and place in this world and her parents’ has simply run out to begin in another.
Krita currently stands as a young healer, who has a lot to learn from Gira and everyone else she encounters, but is no longer timid and uncertain about her actions.
