From my fanfic, 'A Beastly Rose,' this is the main female character Rose as her eighteen-year-old human self looks back at a childhood lost when she was eight years old and picked an enchanted rose which made a malevolent red enchantress appear to her and transformed her into a beast, like her father was.

She also looks back at the beast that she was for ten years, which made her lose nearly all her humanity, as she lost hope of breaking the spell and became more animal like, shunning her servants and the outside world...until one day, a brave young man named Leon Dupont comes to the castle, looking for his lost mother, who Rose had imprisoned and bravely gives up his freedom for his mother and becomes her prisoner which leads into something special....

In a way, if Rose hadn't picked the flower and been cursed, she wouldn't have met Leon, who became her true love and broke the spell with his unselfish love and courage but it cost her ten years of her life and being seperated from her beloved parents and grandfather.

I tried to make Rose as beastly as I could with the Snow Queen but after some attempts, this was the best I could but I think she came out nice and her ballgown is a combination of Adam's dress jacket (blue and gold colours) and Belle's gold dress, only in blue with gold trimmings and gold silk roses to give it's own unique look.
