"Why must you throw a party?" you asked your older sister Laura.

"Oh lighten up (Y/N)! It's a party and it's supposed to be fun!" Laura protested.

Your sister was twenty-one today and would be having a party at your mansion. You knew what that would entail. All the popular people from your old school would come over to trash the place while Laura pass out on alcohol and you along with the maids would clean up.

Sadly your parents were both business workers and had to leave for an important meeting. Dad was going to be in Tahiti with a client and Mom was in America introducing her ideas to another company for the next three weeks. They did leave Laura with a lot of money though to do whatever she wanted with (that wasn't too crazy).

"I wish mom and dad didn't make me stay. All your friends make fun of me." You frowned.

"They're just teasing you." Laura shrugged off while apply lipstick.

"If by teasing you mean call me horrible names and constantly pester me than yes." your sarcasm kicked in.

"Look, just ignore them. You can't be friends with everybody." Laura rolled her eyes.

"I don't even have any friends." you mumbled that part.

Anytime you would try to have a friend you sister would always find a way to make them her friend. The same thing could be said for dating. You were only two years younger than her and whenever you found someone attractive your sister snatched them away.

You stopped trying to have friends and started trying to ignore everyone. They would leave sooner or later.

"Now lets discuss about my plans..." you sister began.

The party was insane!

You thanked whatever higher power was up there that you locked your door to your room and even the windows. People were either dancing like they didn't care, drinking, smoking, video games or the horizontal Hula in the guest rooms.

Deciding you've had enough 'fun' you went outside on the swing set to look in the sky.The stars were showing and you couldn't help but smile. You used to love counting them when you were younger but now you lost track of your total.

Suddenly a smaller person with spikey hair and violet eyes came running towards you with a panic face.

"I need to hide please!" he begged.

Deciding to ask questions later you nodded and opened the tool shed for him and whispered. "Be careful not to trip."

"Okay." he nodded.

You walked over to your seat and saw a girl with short brown hair and blue eyes call out. "YUGI? YUUUUGI?"

She looked at you and asked. "Have you seen a little guy around with spikey hair?"

"Nope." you shook your head.

With a pouty face she ran back inside calling his name.

You opened the door and informed him. "She's gone."

"Thanks." he smiled and came out.

"Why were you hiding from her?" you asked.

"She's totally drunk and wants to make out which isn't my thing honestly. I-I mean kissing my friends while they're drunk. I don't want to take advantage of them." He replied honestly.

You smiled at the noble man. "Want to go to a safe place?"

He looked worried. "It's not your room is it?"

That made you laugh. "No, it's a just a spot on the roof."

"Okay." he sighed in relief.

You jumped on the stone wall fence and climbed onto the roof with him behind you. The two of you sat down where you could see other houses and the stars clearer.

"Wow, this is a great view." he complimented.

"I agree. Is your name Yugi?" you asked.

"Yugi Muto." he nodded.

"(Y/N)." you greeted. "So how do you know my sister?"

"Laura is your sister?" he looked surprised.

"Yeah. I'm two years younger." you replied.

"Tea and her are friends. I only met her when we came in today. She was a bit....wild, no offense." he held his hands up in defense.

"That's her." you chuckled.

"Didn't you invite your friends to this party?" Yugi asked.

"Don't have any." you shrugged.

"Why not?" Yugi looked confused. "Surely someone as nice as you would have a friend."

"I guess you could say they all liked my sister better and forgot about me." you frowned slightly.

"I'm sorry." he looked concerned.

"It's not your fault." you answered.

"Than consider me a plus one friend." Yugi smiled.

You raised a brow at him. "Seriously? Even after meeting Laura?"

"Personally, I like you better than her." Yugi nudged you.

That was heart warming. No one had ever said that before. Not even your parents treated you this kind and honest. Now you were loving the feeling.

Yugi Moto and you were best friends. He never fell for your sisters tricks to get closer to him and he treated both of you with respect. He was starting to grow on you.

By that you mean you had a crush on him.

Yugi was nice, brave, loyal and one of the best people you've had the pleasure of knowing. He was perfect. Small size and all.

One day he texted you saying:

Hey. Could you meet me outside the Gameshop? I need to ask you something.

It was strange. What did he need to ask?

You saw Yugi looking happy and yet nervous to see you. There was a slight pink on his cheeks.

"Hi Yugi." you greeted.

"Hey (Y/N). How are you?" he asked.

"Great, what did you want to ask?" you tried to hide your extreme curiosity.

"Oh...um...(Y/N) would..." Yugi was blushing harder to trying to get out his words.

"Would I...?" you urged him.

"Be my girlfriend?" he asked with a tomato red face.

With a girly grin you kissed him passionately for a moment than pulled away.
