Was encouraged by feedback by on a previous deviation of Ashley of 'School for Vampires' and my OC Miss Melanie Dirge as adults (see deviation here: [link] )
Yes, even as adults, the one thing they will always share a love for when they are together is attending formal occassions such as ballroom dances- and enjoying themselves
Title and scene was inspired by the Jim Henson movie 'Labyrinth' and the David Bowie song 'As the World Falls Down'
I thought it would be fitting seeing as the victorian ballroom in that movie had lots of creatures, and lots of the parties and places Miss Dirge goes to are full of creatures, especially her Victorian-style hometown of Duskville (which is in the pic here) Miss Melanie Dirge's dress was based on Sarah's (the heroine) ball dress in the ballroom scene in the 'Labyrinth' movie, while I've added a bit of MD's personal touches- like a diamond heart gem in the white ribbons and her trademark blue rose on the necklace. And of course, Ashley's outfit was inspired by that of David Bowie's character- Jareth the Goblin King (who is mine and 's favourite character in the movie)
Looks like two of MD's animal friends- Banshee the Ghost Kitty and Sir Ossifus the Skeletal Whippet Dog came to enjoy the party too
And of course, even as adults, MD and Ashley will love each other, even if the 'World Falls Down'

its a cool and wonderful movie
Its about a girl who wished her baby brother away to the land of the Goblins (a Labyrinth). But after realising that she misses him, she must go back and save him. It stars David Bowie as the Goblin King and many fantasy characters

This is such a beautiful picture. For a moment I actually thought it might have been their wedding. But even though it's not Ashley and MD look wonderful and you can tell how much they truly love each other.
