Preach.
I have my preferences in old shows and movies more from the 90's and 2000's despite I do like some new shows and movies too from the 2010's.
Unfortunately, newtards harassed me for that thanks to nostalgitards giving sane old schoolers like me a bad name.

Even though I'm an oldies fan, you're right, there's plenty of good stuff on TV like Genndy Tartakovskys Cartoons, Pixar, Turbo F.A.S.T., Frozen, Big Hero 6, The Loud House, Milo Murphy's Law, Coco, Disenchantment, Hilda and more.

If a person hates modern things with understandable reasons (more than"IT SUCZ!!1!!1!!1"), then i can tolerated that.
Newtards can fuck themselves.

Exactly.
If having different taste in things is subjective, then having preferences is subjective too.
I got harassed by newtards for that reason. Smh...

I've born in 1993 and I love many modern cartoons as well.

I don't care about 80s and 90s, but 2000s and 2010s are good too.
But I was born in 2001.

The term "Nostalgiatard" is bad. I like new stuff too. The 2010's are not that bad.

Indeed.
Having legit reasons to hate mainstream modern music does not make you a hipster or a nostalgiatard.

I like both old and new stuff and it really annoys me when people who like older stuff dislike the never stuff and vice versa. XC

Everyone likes things they grew up on. I recently was reunited with my favorite band as a child, but I don't call myself something as stupid as that.
I refer to it as "I like thinking of my childhood, therefore sometimes I like to watch old cartoon and listen to the music I listened to in 3rd grade (my rock music phase, still enjoyable. Got out of Hannah Montana quickly). And 80's and 90's? I was born 1997 and I'm 15, there's no way I, or anyone else my age doing this, could have enjoyed the 80s as well as most of the 90s.
And let's stop making cults for everything. "Weee weeaboo" "Yay nostalgiatardjgakldfh" Don't get me started on the 90 babies crap. God -_-; People born before the 90s can remember stuff from the 90s too!

That's cool.
I know. These kind of discussions on the net drive me crazy (and not in a good way -_-)

Yeah. Nostalgiatards are a bunch of nuts to this internet world. Even the ones who are calm about generations had enough with nostalgiatards. The only nostalgiatard group that drives me insane is the Cartoon Network ones. Why? Casper's SS belongs to Catoon Neetwork...and it's underrated in the US ("thanks" to the nostalgiatards....)
I agree with you

I have to agree there. It sounds pretty immature and offensive. I think "extremely nostalgic" might be a better way to put it (just a suggestion).

Wow, someone agrees with me!
Yeah or 'nostalgic extremists' (because in my mind, sticking the prefixes -fag and -tard get really annoying as internet speak for a while)
What about the term '-aboos' (like you know wolfaboos, weaboos etc)? is that out of hand too? I must say not as much as adding -tard or -fag though.

I love going on the internet but sadly such terms become overused overtime....
