Rusty looked across the fence, his curiousity was overwhelming. Smudge was next to him, he turned to his friend. "im going in". Smudge shook his head confused.
"what do you mean?! they eat live rabbits in there?!"
"you really believe what Henry says?"
"no not really, but still they're dangerous!"
"oh i will be fine, i'll just grab a mouse or two and come back"
"okay..."

Rusty leapt off the fence, and landed on the soft grass, the moon was rising in the sky. as he padded through the forest, perking his ears. he smelled something, he crouched and perked his ears once again. the smell wasn't a mouse, he listened carefully. he heard yelling, "what could that be?" he whispered to himself

he approached the sounds, three cats were running through the woods, a large brown tabby covered in scars, an almost lion like tom, and a light brown tabby. "Runningwind hurry up! their's a battle at the gathering and your walking like a snail" the brown tabby said.

Runningwind sighed and sped up "YOUR NOT DEPUTY TIGERCLAW REMEMBER THAT" he yowled as he ran. Tigerclaw growled under his breath, and ran after him. the golden tom stayed behind, and mewed to himself "oh starclan help us now" and ran.

Rusty tilted his head, "what battle? what is a gathering? why do they have such strange names?" he thought as he followed them. he heard yowling and screaming, he ran faster. he saw a bloody sight, a huge group of cats were fighting, two were on top of a large rock, a large ragged brown tom, and a lithe almost blue she-cat yelling and fighting. Rusty stood horrified, he stepped back and stepped on a branch, one of the toms before, Tigerclaw turned towards him.

"what in the world is a kittypet doing here" he growled, slowly walking towards him. Rusty's heart started racing, he quickly turned to run but was slammed into. Tigerclaw scratched his muzzle and bit his ear, the pain was intense. Rusty quickly kicked his stomach and started running away he was grabbed again, by his collar. "yeah you better leave little kittypet, cause us forest cats will not hesistate to slash your throat" he whispered, into Rusty's ear. he let go ripping a chunk of his collar off, he grabbed it and ran back home. tears were in his eyes

Smudge was sitting on the fence, he looked at Rusty and jumped down "Rusty?! what happened?! what did they do to you?!"

Rusty ran over to his friend and started stammering "there were some cats, i followed them and their was this clearing. all of them were fighting, one charged at me, he scratched me and said that they wouldn't hesistate to kill me..."
Smudge gasped, "im so sorry about that, lets take you back home now... your going to definitely need some time to recover"

he nodded, and jumped over the fence. and went to through the cat door, away from the dark fighting cats.

yeah it was a little short but in summary

Bluestar and Brokenstar were fighting about windclan's disappearance, and it broke out into a fight. Rusty left his home at this time and went to investigate following a patrol consisting of Lionheart, Tigerclaw, and Runningwind. he sees the fight and Tigerclaw sees him attacks him, and lets him go, Smudge comforts him and takes him home. after this battle though, Bluestar gets a verision of the fire alone prophecy
