Yes, this is how I'm starting out w/ my photo collection. It'll get better, I promise
It was an idea I've had for a few months now but I didn't have a camera then so here it is. Photos like this will be a rarity from me; I'm not into staging things. The other two versions will be in my scraps if anyone is interested.
Title inspiration: [link] could also be called "the common addicts' fantasy". I felt like making it "socially acceptable" instead. Funny what the famous ones can get away w/ the rest of us can't

What interpretations did you think of? I'm glad you like it, and I hope the arrangement looks like "Back from a concert, threw my junk on the bed before I took my shoes off and threw up in the grabage can".

I like that interpretation. In all my thoughts I had a hotel room on my mind. Back from a concert was one. To be honest the others were a room of a fancy lady. The third idea for an interpretation was influenced by the combination of alcohol and pills. I always have to think of suicide experiments. Well that's the reason for this tiny little bit of sadness.

I really, really like this. Cool as hell, man. Love the shades, the Bic [Bic not Zippo!!] and that book of matches. The pack of Camels both reminds me of an old friend and the commercials from when I was a kid. The tone is great. This may be staged, but you did the placement very well.

I've got one more idea for a staged photo and after that there might be a few every now and again but I'm hoping to do some photos of fall colors and hikes soon.

I love the fall colors, though they're not quite ready to be photographed here yet. Another couple weeks. Hoping I might be able to take a trip down south, it's amazing down there in the fall.

you and your hippie green. but i really like the lighting. this one, i think, is better than your other two cause the stuff in this picture is all thrown together, the bottle is down, and it's like they were in a rush after they got back to the room.
hm...those pills look familiar too. probably shouldnt have said that, though.

yeah, even if you gotta keep trying or do it a different day. just keep at it until you get it right. you'll usually always end up with something spontaneous, too, so try to keep your camera near.
