For the Picture Yourself in Wonderland ContestSince I'm half Japanese my wonderland would have to have oriental influences. Thus the grinning kitsune instead of cat, the blue snake instead of caterpillar, and the Go Queen instead of the chess queen.
I didn't want to change the Hatta too much though because he's one of my favorite characters.
And that isn't Alice. It's Megumi.

I inked and colored with Copics. Any waterproof ink works for lining but I really like Copic markers because 1. they're alcohol ink so they blend really really well 2. it has a sturdy brush tip so I can get large spaces and details with the same pen and 3. the color on the lid of the marker is very close to the color of the ink so I don't grab the wrong marker when I'm coloring.

Thanks ^_^ You're probably right about the queen of hearts but I wanted to make her more oriental and still have her game oriented. I couldn't think of an oriental game with hearts though. Any ideas?
