Description
A crossover piece between the first D&D campaign I joined (This Savage Song) and His Dark Materials, a series that I loved reading when I was younger and am looking forward to the third season of the TV adaptation in the present day. I have used an existing photo as the background, but I am very pleased with how everything has integrated together as a whole picture.

Left to right, here are the characters and what I think their dæmons would be in the world of His Dark Materials:

Raven Kenway: our party rogue. I think his dæmon would be a black cat with spotted fur to help blend in with the shadows.
Archie Bald: resident strongman wizard. I picture his dæmon as a macaw - flashy at a glance, but representing the power of words. I was tempted to give him a snake or an octopus to match Archie’s familiar from the campaign, but given that birds are strongly connected to magic users in His Dark Materials I took a bit of creative liberty.
Silaine Nailo: the cleric who keeps us all alive. I gave him a raven dæmon, given Silaine’s connections to the Raven Queen in the world of D&D.
Nix Sarlen: my bard character, who I pictured as a witch in the world of His Dark Materials. Her dæmon is a blue jay, representing protection and faithfulness.
Jasper Oblice: warlock of the group. His familiar in game is a snowy owl, which I decided to keep as his dæmon for this AU.
