Asher walked through the forest. He was looking for the bugs that everyone had been talking about. "They're everywhere." One of them said. Asher hadn't seen one, and he was about ready to turn home. He heard the sound of a twig break, and his ears stood up. Asher wasn't a stupid wyngro thinking thats exactly what he was looking for, so he didnt exactly want to run out after it. But Asher was curious, so he cautiously stepped towards an edge of a clearing., where the noise came from. He didn't see anything.... "hm....." He looked over the clearing again....

"Hello?...." A small voice said. It was weak and scared..... Asher turned around to see a small yellow wyngro standing there in front of him. "do you have any food?....." She asked. Asher looked her over. Her ribs were painfully visible through her skin, and she shook with hunger.
Asher looked at her with shocked eyes. "Are you lost?" He asked. The yellow wyngro nodded. "Follow me then, ok?"
Asher walked to her and nudged her towards the edge of the woods that was some ways away. The yellow wyngling stumbled and fell. "Hey, are you alright? He asked. The wyngling nodded and shakily got to her feet. Maybe it'd be better if I carried you." Asher said, crouching close to the ground so the wyngling could reach. She hesitated for a moment then climbed on his back and draped herself over him, happy to be off her feet.
Asher chuckled, and started walking. The sounds of the forest were soothing, and the wyngling was starting to doze off. Asher didnt really want her to sleep, considering her condition... "Hey! Whats your name?" Asher asked. The wyngling yawned and spoke quietly. "Firefly...." She said. "My name is Asher." he replyed, "How did you get lost out here, anyway?"
The wyngling picked up her head. "I was looking for buttwing...." She said. "What? What is that?" Asher asked, very much confused. "Buttwing is a wyngro that was cursed with dark magic, and banished to the woods.... I wanted to see him do fire magic..." Asher chuckled. "Where'd the name come from?" Asher asked. "He has wings on his head, his back, his tail and his butt." Firefly said. "So you based the name entirely off of the wings on his butt?" Asher Asked. "Yes." She said.
"Why?"
"Because..." She smiled
Asher sighed.
Soon they saw the light at the edge of the forest. Firefly gasped happily. Asher chuckled. "Before we take you to Alma, we are going to go by Dr. F's Clinic. You know, just to see if your ok." Asher said. "Im fine! Just tired..... And hungry..." Firefly said, with a grumble from her belly.
On the way to Dr. F's, Asher bought Firefly a sandwich from a vender at the market, and Firefly ate the whole thing. "Can I have some more?" She asked as they neared the clinic. "Your still hungry? that was a huge sandwich!" Firefly nodded. Asher sighed, and bumped the doorbell of the clinic with his nose. After a moment, Dr. F answered it. "Come in, Come in!" He said. He seemed a little busy. There were two wynglings just heading out. One had a wrapped leg.
"Excuse me sir?" Asher said as Dr. F rushed around the room. "Yes child, I see you. If you could wait over there, I'll be right with you." Dr. F said as he put a jar of what looked like green goo on a shelf. "This wyngling has been lost in the woods for three days, she needs your attention NOW!" Asher said. Dr. F stopped what he was doing and looked a little suprised at the yound wyngro that was yelling at him. Asher realised he was tense and his hair was somewhat brissled. He relaxed with a sorry look on his face. "Sorry." He said quietly, looking at the ground. "Thats quite alright... " Dr. F said walking to him. He crouched beside firefly. "This is her?" He asked. "Yes it is. Asher said.
After a breif check up, dr F concluded that Firefly would be just fine with some rest and regular feedings. Asher thanked him, and Firefly and him walked out the door. "Can I get another sandwich now...?" She asked.
