I finally got some free-drawing time for myself! I've always loved fireworks and it's summertime, so why not draw a summer scene with some fireworks in the background? Of course I chose to draw Aria, but this time she's in a yukata! I found this good for practice and fun to draw; I hope you guys like it! And the details--gosh~! This must have taken you so long to do--but everything came out perfectly!
And it's just perfect for summer too!! what's better than dressing in a yukata and watching the fireworks? Nothing!

I'm glad you like it! I had fun drawing it since I drew it around the fourth of July (tons of fireworks going off where I live!)
I wish I could go to Japan when a summer festival is taking place so I can do that! It seems so relaxing and fun~

Oh really? That's so cool, at where I lived its kinda hard since the fireworks rules here are very strict xD but it's awesome you saw many fireworks!
Eh? A summer festival sounds fun! I always wanted to go to one too, maybe when your older you can go to Japan for awhile and experience it! And wear a kimono while your at it too! I bet it will be awesome!

Aria has such an adorable expression! Love that gesture with the fan and her mouth! u^u
I confess though.. I am a little confused about how exactly she is sitting ;;
But nvm that - her dress is lovely as well! Lovely mix of colours (my favourite colours to be exact >: D ) and the little flower and hearts just make it adorable!
Now I also really like that background! Despite the fireworks being rather rough you can reconize what they're meant to be straight away and it makes the picture so nice and colourful - but still the colours harmonize well!
Still.. my favourite part of this picture is that gesture with her mouth! So cute ;~;
