He’s a gambler and a cheater, borrowing a ton of money he can’t pay back or getting himself in general trouble, and “cheating” being more than just cards and dice; he has a fiancee, 2 girlfriends, and has pursued other women that didn’t end up a relationship. He doesn’t take others’ feelings into consideration very well and underestimates consequences or tells himself he can get out of them easily. However, with his horrible luck, they catch up to him pretty quickly and he prefers to run rather than face them—that’s probably why he’s grown to like his curse! His new form is more interesting than his old one and it feels like a fresh start, not to mention staying in the Paradise is an easy escape from everything he has piled up outside. He doesn’t mind Patience that much, either.

His mutation from the curse will fluctuate although he's pretty far in (it's changed his hair, eyes, given him the ears and tail, and he grows leaves on random spots in his body). Sometimes things will disappear and come back, sometimes he'll get something more. It's a surprise o
