it was gala day last sunday, and although i missed the gala itself my brother and i went down to watch the fireworks...they were fantastic!
and lookie here i managed to actually get a picture of them! 
well actually i took lots, had the camera on a tripod and kept pushing the shutter release between the oohs and ahhhs lol. dont worry i wont flood DA with them all...just few select ones. this one reminds me of flowers... its in the abstract gallery because i had no idea where to put it, but i feel these flowers are pretty abstract

strangly there didnt seem to be so many booms this year... its someting we really noticed. there were still plenty of bangs and crackles... but a distinct lack of boom that sends vibrations through your body and makes the displays so awesome... but they were still pretty
