Description here's stanley. he's a commision so not for sale.

he's from an old pattern i developed about 6 years ago. they're called Munchkins. they're not actual teddy bears. they have long in seam arms (my favourite style makes them very huggabubble) and they also have a curled toe (kind of like a hook). and spikes of different coloured fur. this is one of my favourite designs and collectors love em to

the only weird thing is people either seem to really love them or hate them (not sure why) i think it's cause your adverage person thinks a teddy bear should look a certain way (you know like a hallmark style of bear) they have no idea that there's a huge range and set of styles out there being made by bear artists (most don't even seem to know there is such a thing as an artist bear)

Did you happen to write a book about them?

omg, this is beautiful. I'm not a fan of the traditional "teddy bear". I like ones with character and a twist, which this one clearly has. I wish people made more of these. Wonderful job...

so cute! I don't care what other people say, I love them! And you're background is awesome! I should make something cute like that. I just photograph mine on the couch or against a wall. That's a really good idea. Great job!
