I'm a big metroid fan and I've been wanting to do a lil something like this for a while now so I made time to do so.Hopefully will get round to doing something in a less sketchier style.

Your ability to capture Samus's female form and make her look sexy and bad
ass at the same time is amazing! Furthermore, your colors are amazing, and
as usual the glow really dazzles me. Instant fave because it's so epic.

Going for samus' female form was definetly a must for me. I needed a powerful yet elegant figure because she is just that for me.

Finding a median must be hard, because most arts depict her as either
too slutty, like a sex symbol or something, or they go for the other extreme
and the armor is too bulky to be recognized as having a lady within. You have found
the middle ground though. Cheers!

yeaaaah I noticed large amounts of slutty samus pics when I was browsing for reference. I do understand why people see her that was, she is pretty ^^.

Yeah she is, but it just gets redundant and some of them are just
too much. I'm one of those rarer people who find her armor sexy, too.
There is a middle ground, and I think they are getting closer to finding it.
I like her look in Other M. New, refreshing, and she has clothes. Win.

I'm not really sure on the story. Who is that chick you see at first? I know it's not Samus, cause we see her later. Samus is more pretty and looks less like a brat.

Mr. Miyamoto just said that the girl was not Samus, but a very important piece of the story. The only girl that would look like that could possibly be...Samus's mother? I don't know. Regardless, I'm really anticipating it.

Working really hard to get some funds together...should be just about there. Paid 25 bucks on it already. Requested ones from Gamestop come with an art portfolio from the game. I'm excited about that!!

Nice--I love the angle. What I find most interesting is that you made an effort to capture Samus' figure while having her in her suit. Sometimes it looks too bulky for my liking. Great work. :3

cheers dude. This is actually a standard brush, I just dropped the flow of the brush to about 30% and the spacing to about 40%. for the green glow I pushed the spacing up a bit. I'm sure you could find a pack of brushes but it's not necessary.

I actually knew straight away it was a girl. I started with super metroid for the snes and I died pretty quick so I saw her armour blow up and seen the chick underneath... But I still love her all the same
