Description Hi! It's me again!
Returned from Belgium today. It was fun but so tiring... and I was only there for a weekend, can't even think how it'd feel if I had been traveling for a week like some people do xDDD Traveling is fun, but I always find myself missing my time and tools to do artistic stuff.

Anyways~ From left to right and from top to bottom...
Summer Wave: I know the name's a little vague but as always I ran out of good names for my manicures HAHAHAHA I did this because I bought myself a glittery top coat, in hopes that it'd make a great base, but it wasn't as shiny as it looked in the bottle -_-U It does give the manicures a nice holographic shift if used over other polishes, but it doesn't do much for itself. And since as always my camera failed to capture all of the colors, it looks kinda bland. In real life it shifted in gold, green and even cyan if you look closely.

I used those colors for the designs. And it isn't perfect, but it isn't bad either! Makes for a good, refreshing summer manicure.

Starstruck 2: Yasssss, Starstruck! This is a remake of a manicure from 2014, September or October I think. I loved that mani. It was the first time I used the blue Essence 3D Glitter topper and it looked awesome, very Hannah Montana-ish. So I decided to bring it back.

It looks almost exactly like the original, except that the stars look a little bigger. I think that's because of the order in which I draw the outer and inner lines... In this area, the old one does better. Buuuuut remember what I just said about the glittery top coat in the previous mani? Yeah, I used it over the blue glitter, and it looked great. The 3D topper's almost dry, by the way. I hope they still make it because it's one of my all-time favorite polishes.

The only other thing I changed was the star in the accent nail; I added a blue outline.

I really like this one, could have done better with my current skills, but it looks good to me. And the picture isn't bad either... But it didn't get much appreciation in Instagram, I don't understand why.

Segmented Pipeline: I failed, and had to retake the exam for, a subject named Computer Architecture. I love it; we learn mostly about hardware and low-level software, and the internal structure of microprocessors (and a lil' about memories). And I only failed two subjects, so I spent most of June and July studying this one.

So I had to make some Computer Architecture nails. HAHAHAHAHAHA It was very fitting, because the generic microprocessor model we used had 5 separate stages in which stuff is done, and I have 5 nails to draw on! 😂😂😂 So I drew the hardware for each stage in my nails, in a simplified form.

From pinky to thumb you have instruction fetch, instruction decode, execution, memory access and write-back. The stuff on the back are my class notes. It takes me forever to get them to look all aesthetic and sometimes I end up losing valuable study time because of that but I'm so proud of them! I have a color code for hardware models, and I followed it in my mani as well.

I loved doing this mani. The downside to it is that the stages aren't even; some look very cramped especially the pinky and some are almost empty, for example the thumb. I didn't want to mix the stages, though, since the fun part of this was that each separate stage was in a separate nail. So I added the stage names to the thumb, to keep that multiplexer (the teal trapezoid) company.

That being said, I don't even know how I managed to squeeze that much stuff in some nails without messing everything up. HAHAHAHAHA

Anyways - I love this manicure, I think the concept's very original. Too bad the prof didn't get to see them... by the time I took the exam they weren't good anymore.

Lime French: Remember Cyan French? And how much I loved it? And that I said I should try it in some other colors? Here it is in lime and white HAHAHAHAHA

It's different this time, because my nails were shorter and because I gave it a gel-like finish instead of a matte one. I like how they look! They were tricky to do, though. Since my nails were shorter, the tips had to be thinner too, or it'd "eat" the nail. I had to re-make some nails because of this, but in the end they looked good.

I'm still wearing this one! I should change it soon though, it's already cracking.

Hope you liked it!

Thanks! It's one of my faves as well. I love computer science so I often try to incorporate it into my manicures~
