Probably my favourite piece I've ever seen from you. You really went above and beyond on knocking this one out of the park!!

There are plenty of good ones out there to choose from. The best way to learn though is to do what you think is right and then let people tell you where you went wrong. It's one of those things where you just have to jump in with both feet and make your mistakes into lessons for the next time.

Seems to be the best thing do for sure lol. Reading things is one thing. Being taught by hand a technique that you can make your own is something completely different. So I will continue wading through my crap before I hit some gold LOL!

Yeah, Jon went a little off model when he did it, but man, I really like it too.

Great piece. Love everything. I do see two things that look slightly off to me. The first one I noticed almost immediately is that the hands on the staff in front look a bit small to me -- the right hand (your left) especially... The other issue I only noticed because you said C&C up there and I was looking at the hands, 'cause I noticed the one in front, is that the hand holding the gun in the back looks slightly larger than it ought to be, relative to the face of the character holding it. (Not characters I'm familiar with.) Relative to the gun it looks perfect -- so I guess that means I think the gun ought to be a little smaller too. Though honestly if it weren't for the fact that I noticed the hand in front and was looking for other things to comment on, I don't think I'd have ever noticed that one -- it doesn't really stand out. Anyway, great job -- hope the crits are helpful.

Yeah, I noticed the hands as well. Aren't they dainty?

I didn't draw this, just did the colors, but I appreciate you taking the time to comment on it, and will pass it along to the penciller.

I love your coloring ross but your highlights just dont seem to pop in comparrison to your midtones. Maybe its just a personal prefernce but I like a good contrast of light and dark.

Believe it or not, that was more or less intentional. I've never been a big fan of the shiny high contrast costume look. Have you ever tried to rub two pieces of that stuff together? It's friggin' hard. I don't understand why superheroes would ever wear it.
