Well if she was a normal girl she might believe that her dad tells the truth and what she saw was not what she tought she saw. This can happen very easily.
But I'm assuming all 3 of them has genius level intelligence.

Sometimes you have to, especially when you want to reassure them. They were already upset about Jojo, except maybe Buttercup, and they're upset about him being hurt. He doesn't want to overload them. My guess would be that Bubbles and Blossom would want to go out to find him immediately.

i have to say this comic is amazing! I haven't watched the series since I was a little girl and I can still hear the Professors, the girls, and Mojo Jojo's voices clear as day in my head as I'm reading. You have captured their mannerisms perfectly and you have gained a die hard fan! Can't wait til Monday!!

In this one case, I think he was lying about Jojo to protect them. If he said Jojo ran away, they would probably be sad. Or, worse, might go looking for them (and possibly hurt, especially with their powers blocked). But he'll have to tell them eventually, unless they find out first.
I don't think he's necessarily BAD, though. Certainly not in the way Daddy Warbucks(?) seems to be. He's mentally unstable, we've seen that since the beginning. He lost his wife and kids, that grief will mess with anyone's head (sane or not). Now that he has them back, he's probably terrified of losing them. He's trying to look out for them as best he can, although his methods might not be entirely right. But, I mean, YOU try having 3 kids with super powers after you lost your wife and kids, plus mental issues to top it all off!
I honestly feel bad for him. He's been thrust into this world of superpowers and talking monkeys and craziness, and is trying to maintain some semblance of control and safety. Yea, he may seem like a bit of a dick. But there's reasons for it, even if they don't always make sense to us.

True, true... But I think he felt bad about Jojo. Not to mention ashamed, as he likely thinks it's his fault Jojo left. And he's kinda right, but still...
I looked back a bit, just to check some stuff. And he seemed legit upset that Jojo left. He even said (after he saw that Jojo visited his wife), he wanted to find Jojo but that she came first.

Yea, me too. But even Princess. Like.. yea, she's a rich spoiled brat. But also, she has to put up with her dad... So, I mean.. she would probably be perfectly nice if it wasn't for him. At least, I'd like to think so... And seeing how Daddy Warbucks is in this, I doubt he hasn't touched her or something. Even just once. Then again, he's had the maid for that... So maaaybe not? But still... :/

There are different kinds of evil. Daddy Warbucks might have done stuff like that to the maid, but I doubt he'd do it to Princess, by the way she acts; it seems like he just pampers her, never showing her his bad side. She would be nice if not for him, that's for sure, but still, you never know.
