This is a very large imposing desk. Made with Black Walnut and White Oak accents. It is designed as a computer desk with pull-out keyboard tray, large file drawers, and cord channels to fully hide nasty cables running from your new G5 Tower that fits perfectly on top of the file drawers. The 3 piece design allows for easy transport to that new office with a window. Thru-dovetail carcass construction will make this desk last until your grandkids get a computer. Ross, if I get rich you're going to come along for the ride and make my home. Was this a commission piece or is it for you or what? Anyways, I think the sides of this piece are my favorite element, the bands beside the top drawers. How many components does this thing have, or do you even keep track? Anyways, keep up your work, the cleanliness is always wonderful to look at after making something for myself.

well, the 2 bases are mirror immages of each other so the construction was fairly straight forward. i guess if i had to put a number on it i would say.... under 100? I built this desk for myself, just to see if i could. ill bet this one took me about 60 hours, the next one would take me a good 40. thanks for the comment, check back soon and ill have more chairs.

I like most of it, but am not too crazy about the drawers at the bottom. They look like something I would constantly hurt my feet on
