Ah, one of my absolute favorite AD&D characters! He was True Neutral and simply did not care about anything. Monsters did not phase him. Bosses with their monologing speeches failed to move him. Repeatedly cursed, dying ignoble and meaningless deaths (only to be brought back by the party); even fat stacks of gold and other treasure, to quote "I don't care."

This is the lead figure (yes kids, miniatures used to be LEAD!) that I used when gaming over 30 years ago. He was painted by my gaming partner back in the day, Jennifer. The paint is badly faded but that's actually a bonus, given the fact that Rothar simply does not care.

Incidentally, the black smudge on his chest is from getting hit with one too many lightning bolts...usually cast by another party member.
