i like how poipole and naganadel portrayed in the anime are like bees, they live in a colony of mostly only poipole don't evolve since poipole only evolve when they learn dragon pulse which they do learn normally, but are unable to access without being taught the move though external means (move re-learner/move tutor) so this means that most poipole (are like worker bees) remain infertile and do all the colony's chores and defending. only when they need to disperse a new colony or the colony is swarming with they produce new queens, so in this case, naganadel would teach a selected poipole how to use dragon pulse, it evolves and starts a new colony

Naganadel is known as UB Stinger.

they an interesting are milestones in the pokemon universe because,

1. they are the only ultra beasts that evolve

2. they, along with blacephalon & stakataka were the first pokemon...er ultra beasts introduced mid generation

also fun fact, poipole and naganadel partial inspired the design of my alien vyolexian draconid the iolactrix, the unseen early designs of the ionlactrix resembled naganadel a little more.
