Anya is a sweet in her personality, being that her race is known for helping fishermen and hunters on the ice. Like guides and givers. Even though she is extremely curious and due to past experiences she is nervous when meeting new people. With closer friends she will become protective of them. As for her temper she can’t really be angered easily. But when she does get angry its kind of scary! She can also be kind of creepy at times. Its an off and on kind of thing for her.

◢◣ H I S T O R Y:

Anya lived under thick ice all her life. She was raised by a large female harp seal when she was separated from her mother at a very young age. And since then had been having a wonderful life along with the pup that she was raised with. Although when she had to split from her seal mother she was not to fond of it, crying for days. But sooner or later she had to make her own way.

Her “brother” the seal she was raised with went his own way and she was alone. Staying where she was for a few days she started to get hungry and swam looking for food till she saw something, a hole? Oh that’s what the seals used to breath . . . but what was hanging from it? She moved over seeing a tiny fish about to bite it. So she snatched that fish right up and ate it in a few chomps. But she was captivated by what the shiny pointy thing was, but another fish came by and whoop it went right up with the thing. Confused she reached over grabbing a fish and saw the metal thing come back and hooked the fish. It went right up and she heard a happy laugh. What? Looking threw the ice she had a feeling, she need to help this creature! It was like . . . she just NEEDED too.

So years went on and she would see the same type of what she learned where people come by and make holes in the ice. Fishing and she even led them with glimpses through the ice of her over to good hunting areas for rabbits and such. Life was pretty good till she saw a young man so close to the hole one day. He kept trying to see something. Her maybe? The roomer of one of her kind around here had grown stronger by the year. Reaching up threw the water she patted his cheeks quick freaking him out.

Soon she found herself meeting that boy all the time after his father and older brothers came to fish. She learned how to speak from him and other neat things. You could say she grew quite fond of him and one day she was determined to be able to be close to him. So that day after fishing he came right up and smiled down at her, but she reached up grabbing him and pulling him right into the hole. breaking the ice she had scrapped away to a thin layer so it would be easier to pull him in. Breaking threw he yelled, but she embraced him in a tight hug, warmth! She could feel a warmth from the human like the seals had!

She loved this warmth and nuzzled him, but he struggled. She did not understand why he was being like this. Thinking humans where much like her and could live down here, but soon he was still and the warmth faded. Confused and trying to get him to wake up she swam as far as she could down finding a ice cave and set him in there. What would she do now? She knew what was wrong with him now, seemed they were more like seals than she thought . . .

Crying she kept patting his cheeks. It was all she could do, but this marked the begging of more kidnapping of the humans. After this she purposely led his brothers and young men to the water. She wanted that warmth! Collecting bodies in that cave no one knew it was her. She was still thought as a good creature and they had thought maybe the boys just went missing during storms, got eaten by bears, or stepped on thin ice being foolish.

For another winter year she helped them before she saw something, was it revenge? Anya peeped up from some ice broken and saw blood everywhere, she knew the smell well. Seal blood. Looking around she saw at least 2 mothers and 3 pups skinned, cut up and dead. The hunters, men from the same family of who she had taken killing her seals. This enraged her! How dare they! Pulling herself out of the water in a rage she roared and tried to slash at them. She had given them plenty of fish! Pleasantly leading to red meat too! The men fled seeing her and where confused on what was wrong with this. And in the end she was left looking at the dead bodies sorrow in her heart.

The very morning, she stood up on two legs and looked around. Humans where greedy and cruel it seemed, but so was she. Although this place masked it there was cruelty all around and she could not stay anymore. Wondering the world she did find Hallows Haven and saw a chance at a new life here.
