Uh.. more about char bc I haven't posted about her in a while.

A bit more info:

Growing up, Charlie was chubby for her age. Not to where she's considered "fat" or something like that, though it primarily affects her breasts, stomach, and thighs. The rest of her body helps her pass as skinny as long as she's not wearing revealing clothing. At first, much like her eye problem, she thought that her body wasn't such a bad thing when she was younger. However, when she got older, mfs actually started to bodyshame her for it.

Her mom told her to continue standing up for herself, meanwhile, her dad tells her to cover up, and never let anyone see it. Although he wasn't as bad as Marina and Ellis' moms, he would sometimes bodyshame Char too. He did this in hopes that she'd actually listen to him, and try covering up. He never actually thought this way about her body, but he had a fucked perception on what "discipline" was. Although Charlie still obeys him, she secretly hates him for that.

Usually, she wears long dresses when she can, just so people don't notice her shape. Now, aside from the bodyshaming thing, her dad was also pretty strict in other manners. Such as her being unable to touch his things. Sometimes, she would be smacked with a mop if she fucked up. She was never beat severely, but she still knows her dad isn't the man to anger. Her parents still love each other, although Charlie still trusts her mom more than her dad since she's more understanding.

Sometimes, Char just wishes her dad forgot about her completely, just so he wouldn't care so much about what she was wearing, what she touched, etc. Overall, while Char still doesn't really have that much trauma, not everything is perfect at home. Sometimes, she wishes she could just run away from her dad.
