I sadly don't speak a single word French. Except of Crouton, Cretin, Baguette and.. the word for purse. XD Porttemon..n?..aie. Thingajing. Well... I had the choice between French and Latin at school.
French was like "Hey, I'm a beautiful language, but look at all the goddamn letters you write but don't speak!"
And Latin was like "Hey, forget France, in Latin you speak everything as you read it and you need a Latinum to study many things later on!"
Well, I chose Latin. Didn't need a Latinum to study my subject and kinda regret that I only can speak German, English and.. well, you can't actually speak Latin O.o'

And I've been studying Latin during 3 years too, it was pretty helpful for me. I love reading and in France we have the choice between 3 subjects for the rest of our scolarity : Scientific BAC, Litterature BAC, Economic and Social BAC. (The BAC is the diploma that everyone have) And I choose Litterature so Latin is very helpful ^^
French is a very complicated language. I mean, even some french people can't speak it correctly (Damn)
At least I can speak a bit of German, English, French, a bit of Swedish and Japanese and a bit of Italian... ^^
