Part of the reason I picked Achillobator. I was looking for a dromaeosaurid large enough so that just a few would be just able to knock down a small enough sauropod. In this case, Apatosaurus ajax, which is only 16 meters (52-53 feet) long and probably doesn’t exceed 18 short tons. Diplodocus was another consideration because of its more lightweight build, but I was off-set (did I write that correctly) by the variation in size with the discovery that Seismosaurus is actually a large specimen of Diplodocus.
