Ok, technically this is a photo manipulation, as I have yet to get the tattoo. However, I wanted it to be here, as this is my target audience. This is about body art, and not the digital manipulation itself. I would have put it in tattoo design, except everything in there is on a white background.This was an experiment to see how it might look, and if I want to change anything. I'm glad I did, as I had to stretch the bottom of the sword considerably, and I think it still needs to be longer.

Yeah, I defiantly think it would look better if the sword went all the way down your back. I love the design though.

I dont think it neeeds to be longer jsut then entire thing moved down do the tip of the sword bladeis resting roughly at your pantline

White ink is difficult to work with, make sure you find an very skilled well seasoned artist to do this for you. White is easy to mess up.

I think it's a great design. I'd look into how well white ink will show up on your skin and for how long. Also what colours it'll fade to and whether the black might bleed into it.

WHOA DUDE NICE!!!!!! - i agree with the others, talk to the tattoo artist about it before you get it done. oh and make sure to have some alcahol beforehand to help numb the pain, cus this one'll be a BITCH! - mind if i borrow this design and tat it for myself? (i've been thinking about getting one for like..AAAGES lol)

if u did that in photoshop, u should've toned down the transparency some more so that it would look like it as really on ur skin. the silver shading is still too realistic. but otherwise, its a great concept.

I played around with it for quite a while. If the transparency were any more or less it would either be too bright and not sit on my skin, or it would be too faded and faint.

Wow, wonderful outlining and amazing detail. The only thing I see that need's work is the part where the 'tails' come down, the front one has three 'feathers' and the behind one should also have three, but on the top it has two then the bottom part has three.
I'm not sure I worded it so you get the point, but take a look at it and you may see what I'm getting at.

Tattooing the spine hurts alot since its so close to the bone, but other than that it shouldn't be too bad.
