Description
Some 10,000 lightyears from the refuge of the Federation, a lonesome Galaxy Class ship sits in orbit above the Class M moon of Efil, its only company being a solitary starbase. Trillions of kilometers away, a black hole, some 670 times the mass of the sun vomits x-rays and other unsightly forms of radiation into the space around it. However, the nearby gas giant of Anehta supplies Efil with a magnetic field that can shrug off the majority of the radiation erupted by the hole. But due to its immense proximity, the stars around Anehta orbit themselves revolve around the black hole, an orbit that takes millennia to complete. Regardless, the Aralc System as it's come to be known, is of extremely strategic importance to Starfleet due to the abundance of resources hidden away in readily accessible locations.
