The painting itself is good. The only problem is that Rubens is known for his Rubensic female figures, so I don't see why they should be made to look thinner. Plus it's kind of a turn-off for men who like full-figured women.

Thanks for comment. I don't think that I only have made these female figures thinner... I used this painting as reference because it is a icon and other reasons. I have made some works which I propose a kind of play between "old" and "modern". Tattoos, bikini marks, piercings, clothes, some things seem strange when are not in its context... Now they are thin, show pubic hair and have bikini marks. But their faces and expressions are unchanged. What has changed?
We do and show our work but we don't have control about other people think about it.
This is bad and good at the same time. But this makes us try to be better artists.
Please, don't misunderstand me. I really appreciate that you spent your time commenting my work.

Well, I don't think anyone should take the courage to play around with iconic images. It's disrespectful to the great artist, in this case Rubens. Let alone not add bikini marks, pubic hair, etc. These women on his painting are not simply women, but goddesses. If you want to paint the type of women you did, that's fine, but don't do it by copying an Old Master.
Again, I think your painting skills are great, but I think your subject choice in this case was poor. It's not unique either, because I have seen other people do a similar thing with this painting. It makes me upset. In case you haven't guessed, Rubens is one of my favorite painters.

I agree with *giorjoe, and the reason I'm adding to this discussion is to add a question expanding on it. What was your intention with this piece? I ask because when I look at it, I see them transformed into very shallow women, and my interpretation is that it's supposed to act as a negative change, however, I can't tell if that's your intention or my 'fat positive' views overclouding your intention...

I realize this is an old comment, but I have to say that I do think your "fat positive" attitude was coloring your perception in at least one important way. I find it odd that simply depcting the same subjects with thinner bodies make them appear "very shallow" to you. To me, this is no better than someone saying that a subject being depicted with a heavier body suddenly makes them "slothful".

Now you see... It is not so inappropriate for your age, I think. It is only something fun...
