So uhm, I've been playing the old Crysis games, now that I have a machine that can handle them, 11 years later lol... It's been a great source of inspiration however, so here's my first ever piece of fan art.
I did start this one painting, and still most of the foreground has remained photo-less. Also since this can't be used in prints and such, I thought I might as well make it downloadable at its original size. Hope you guys enjoy!

Honestly I learned most of it around here. I had some artistic training and also some Photoshop training before I got to DA, but most of all I just browsed artists here and found what I liked, tried to get my stuff to a similar place... failed most of the time, keep failing now. xD I find concept artists to be generally pretty good references for landscape and environments, as long as you don't want it hyper realistic.
My rig is just an average PC (i5, 16GB RAM, 1050ti), ideally with a second monitor, which I don't have ATM. Wacom Intuos tablet and that's about it. Dreaming about a Cintiq tablet, soon...
