I just think Tails being married to Mina looks totally odd. In fact, the whole MXYL is weird altogether. Shadow being a villain, Tails being married to Mina, Lien-Da looking 40 years younger than she is

actually no. In the SU #14 or 13, in a funny spin off comic, Sonic called her to ask her if she was the bride and she confirmed that she wasn't, that she has never been to the East.....besides she's purple and Rouge is snowy white.

Doesn't take a lot to go from purple to white.
By all accounts she is a bat, why would she be so differently built than other Mobian bats...unless she was rebuilt.
Someone, perhaps, cared enough to send her out of the country to be rebuilt, then something happened to make her forgotten which was ok, she didn't know who she was anway, wakes up to a life in dept, and turns to sealing, which she was surprisingly good at.
Sonic U 13,14 didn't see any call to Rouge.(geek out)
It's just a comic book.

Um, the Brides are very powerful. They didn't get that way by being stupid. In change and in power means that you have acquired certain informants that provide information also having a keen eye for detail and body language. Being the bride of "Infinite Wealth or Riches" meant she was able to deduce how to get move goods and acquire profit. That she wasn't able to read Regina by her body language only proves how different Mobians are from Overlanders.

Speculation: Her clan was probably a clearing house for information, goods and services. Being "bats", according to Aesop, uni-lined with neither bird nor beast, they would be less discrete with information acquired than the chameleons, presenting it to the highest bidder. Of course she would also be financier adviser, her advise would lead to profit then she would have her "cut", if unpaid, that is what her people did. Sound a bit like lawyers.
