You said no bg, still you added. However, that created the entire picture as well, allowing the lightning effect to show in a new and fresh way. The lineless work on her face also strengthened this impression.
You've done a lovely work at drawing her, adopting her design to your style, while at the same time keeping the important shape for her specie.

Heh. XD Well, if you ever did decide you wanted to draw her, I'm not sure you'd enjoy it. ^_^' Her markings are a tad complicated.... I'm surprised I even memorised them from my dreams. O.o Either that, or I got a huge number of them wrong.
