the hand grabs the attention of the view, making it sort of a central point to it, but your eyes make the viewer wonder what's distracting you...the pose tears my mind, can't decide if i should pay attention to what i'm seeing or wonder what you're seeing.

This is one of so many wonderfully expressive photographs by you, your expression and the title once again just go hand in hand to create a very specific and captivating atmosphere. Here it is a feeling of being lost in thoughts, it's like you're daydreaming about something that has you completely oblivious of the world around, or of yourself (hence the title, I'm guessing). And the idea of dreams versus reality is shown here very well, perhaps accidentally, by the contrast between the harsh, hard, cold wall (representing reality) and the soft, beautiful nature of you. It looks like this could also be seen in the use of colour (again maybe accidental); while your skin, the wall, your hair, clothes etc. are in rather 'common' and realistic colours, ones seen daily and not out of the ordinary, there are three bits of colour which I think represent the dream/reality theme: firstly, your eyes. They are a very dark green, almost black, but the green is still quite visible; and I feel that the fact that they are so dark is a sign that you are truly captivated by whatever you are dreaming about here. The seocnd colour is maybe the firs to be noticed, the blue flowers of your dress or shirt; all those blue flowers with their pretty clear hue are a good contrast to the blacks around it, and also it reminsd me of the Evanexcence song 'Imaginary' with the field of flowers *ahh*. And the third is the small, very subtle bit of red right next to the flowers; and red, IMO, represents, among a lot of other things, romaticism and dreams and fantasy. So these three together go rather well together, considering the theme introduced by the title.

A lovely shot, and a very expressive expression (um..). Great job!

this is an absolutely incredible shot. the paleness in the skin and how it harmonizes with the wonderfully textured wall is flawless (reminds me of a shot I did).
the dark hair, dark eyes, dark blouse provide excellent contrast with the blue shirt.
I love the manips you did with the eye color and skin smoothing/glowing.
It's just too good...i dont often fav portraits...but this photo commands it.
