this mini project has consumed me. And to think, it only started as a doodle.

The concept?
What would happen... if cosplayers became who they cosplayed? This idea is something I've been toying with for about 4 months, and focused more on after AX when i met Kaname: [link]
Holy crap.

Obviously, though, if i were to make a manga about this, I'd have to alter everything: names, outfits, worlds... but the more I thought about it, the more I ended up doing just that.

Zaphre Versailles is based on Cloud. Of course. Zaphre = Saphire, a gemstone, and Versailles = Palace of Versailles. Each hero of the Fable series is named after a gem and a famous european castle or palace. The alternate storyline for him? He's an Ex-Knight. (big surprise). However, he was banished from his kingdom for killing one of his own men. Being an ex-knight, he is banned from wearing anything that resembles a Knight's armor, but is condemned to carry the sword that killed his brother.

Volpes Ferrum means Iron Fox in Latin. When I went about designing his sword (inspired by both Cloud's and Noctis' swords), I had trouble coming up with a blade shape. I searched on deviantart for sword sketches and I found ~Iron-Fox 's stuff. The skech up top was inspired by his work, and so I named it after him. :3 Though, I'm still editing the design...

Third Fable is the 3rd game in the Fable series. It's my version of FF7. Each Fable game has a theme, and as such, Third Fable's is redemption, because Zaphre needs to redeam himself for his brother's death.... by saving the world. XD

This has a long way to go before it's ready to be a manga, but once it's ready, i'll be illustrating it along side The Glass River. I work better when I have two projects going, so I can work on one if I can't seem to draw the other at times.
