I 'import' some GIF type pics into some of my 'creations' from time to time.
Q: Is there a way to make such above with a 'clear' background (instead of 'white' or 'color' background?)

HELLO! Yes, I mean with a 'clear' background showing ONLY the 'image' you create/created.
If it has a 'background' with any 'color' behind it, how does one 'cut out' the 'image' ONLY if desired?
I'm still learning how to reboot (my p.c. AND my LIFE!) GRINS.

First you need a program that uses layers. Β I use Photoshop but I believe the free program Gimp also does the same (Available from Google as a free program).
First make a new transparent layer.
If you have a picture already cut out drag it onto the transparent layer. Β You will then have two layers with the cut out one on top. Β Save as a PNG file (Save as then PNG)
If the picture you want to use has a white background or similar, select the white with the Magic Wand tool and then delete it. Β You will be left with the subject cut out.
If there is a multi background this is harder as you need to extract the subject from the background and this takes a lot of practice and time.
All my PNG files (and others) are already cut out even though they show with a background on the web, when downloaded they have a transparent background.
I hope you can understand the above and are ably to follow it.
