It finally happened... I have created my own OC....Meet Miakoda... Her name means Power of the moon in Hopi.
Miakoda was born in the Northern Water Tribe; the daughter of Chatan and Istas.
Needless to say she is a waterbender, however she does not have any combat skills. She was raised to know that a woman's job was in the huts healing the sick and raising the children. She has not dared to stray from those beliefs. After the hundred year war ended her parents sent her off to the Fire Nation for a political marriage with the son of a noble man, Quon.
The marriage to Quon was at first a difficult affair but after the first few months the two fell in love. Miakoda now playfully calls her husband her Bodaway (fire maker) and the two hope to bless their union with a child in the near future.
Miakoda's hair is based after a hair style I used to wear while I was waiting for my bangs to grow out [link] please excuse the pic that was taken after I was up for over 36 hours. Ah the joys of graveyard shifts.

I like her. She's cool and has a cute back story ^^. Nothing like any of my ATLA OC's, but that's the beauty of them, you can do whatever you want with them; have them however you want.

Thanks, I really wanted to have a noncombat bender and the Water Tribes have to be my favorite nation out of the four. I was thinking that maybe she learn how to use a Naginara (my favorite Japanese weapon) but I am not sure if I wish to go that route or not.

Yeah, water tribe is the best ^^.
I think it is a good idea that she is a non-combat, but if she is going to master a wepon, it think it should be used for display and defence only.
