History: Born in Furstenfeld, Austria, Emeli was born to an ex-hero and a non-hero with vision alerting quirks. Her mother had a blindness inducement quirk while her father, the ex-hero and vigilante, Paranoa, has a illusion casting quirk, with which he can cause his enemies to see things that aren’t really there, succumbing them to a state of paranoia. Emeli, as strange as it may seem, wasn't born blind as she is now. Her blindness in fact was caused by her quirk. When she was 9, her mother became ill, the illness caused her mother’s quirk to spark out of control causing her mother to become temporarily blind in the process. Emeli, knowing that her mother wouldn’t recover, used her quirk to help her mother see again, but unfortunately it caused herself to become permanently blind. A few years after her mother’s death and Emeli’s blindness, Emeli’s father thought that it was best for her not to become a hero, or enter into a hero academy because of her disability. However, Emeli, wanted to prove her father wrong, even if she had no aspirations to becoming a pro hero anyway, and she did so by enrolling in a small hero academy in Austria and successfully graduating, ranking at 34 in her class. As an early second-year student at the international Heroics University in Vienna, she chose to continue her studies abroad for the entire year, getting an opportunity to be a student teacher at U.A., one of the world's best hero academies, thanks to an old friend of her Father’s in Japan. She is now studying to become a hero and teacher specialized in stealth and rescue operations.

    -Has a Shikoku-Kai mix, named Hiro (“prosperous”) as a seeing-eye dog. Was given to her as a gift from her father’s friend in Japan, whose quirk is making animals intelligent enough to communicate with. Goes with her everywhere, intelligent enough to understand human conversation and listen to complex commands in order to aid Emeli. Looks fairly wolfish and very serious at times, especially when angered, which causes others to clear a path when Emeli walks down the halls. Hiro is actually a very endearing dog who's just a bit protective . In combat, he wears a tough damage-resistant vest. His goal? Keep her safe.
    -Learned sign language before she became blind because she had a tendency to not speak for at least a weak or for a month, which led to her selective mutism. Taught herself how to sign in three languages, Japanese included.
    -Trained as a violin prodigy until she was 8
    - Even with her quirk, like her mother was once able to do, she can’t enhance her own sight to see fully, but can alter it a bit where she can barely see shapes and slightly see color, which is enough for her. However it only lasts for a minute or two before she starts getting a headache. .
    -She’s often overlooked by most villains because she can’t see, but that quickly changes when they start realizing that she’s not to be taken lightly.
    -Spends most of her time volunteering at local grade school events or tutoring first years. Other than that she's often seen around the school with Midnight or teaching in Ectoplasm’s classroom.
    -Even if vigilantes are a big problem to heroes and she's been advised many times not to go near them, she honestly can't help but root for them
- Family history consists of a balance of heroes, civilians, and villains which makes fun family reunions. The closest villain in her family is her grandmother on her father's side, who has since retired and lives in a senior home for former villains. They video call each other a lot.
    - Over the years she has become primarily sensitive to sound and the feeling of vibrations. Easily she can tell if someone is walking towards her, from which direction, and how fast but her eyes never track their movements directly. One of the very reasons why she’s skilled in close quarter combat, she can easily block/dodge attacks as quickly as they’re being dealt sand finish with a painful hold. .
