Well I didn't get to shoot the so called Super Moon.......but I did get a nice 3/4 Moon shot.....Related content

Feel ya there, man. We took half a day off from work, drove, sat, and waited. We got NOTHING to show for it with multiple photographers using multiple types of lenses. Apparently we're going to get another chance Sun. evening the 21st. Good Luck! (This shot is terrific, by the way.)

Holy crap, you have amazing zoom resolution O.O NICE!
Also, the whole "super moon" thing, only meant that the moon was the closest its ever been recorded in the history of recording the moon's distance to earth. Hope that helps.
