YAY, CRAPPY SWEET POOL FANART. So I somehow managed to play it...and...and, as to be expected, it has a good story. :'3Anywho, unlike most people I've read who played this game, my favorite ending is "Miracles May." (Most people tend to like "The Red Road" for reasons I don't want to spoil for you guys. XD ) Basically, in the ending of "Miracles May," the main character chooses his humanity. :'3 In a sense, both Tetsuo and Youji end up happy (although not together...but I like to believe that they end up together in another sense.)
Just as the texts suggested about Sweet Pool's story...it's a story about one's humanity. I don't know why...but for some reason, people tend to have a hard time understanding this subject. OTL I have a manga that dealt with this same issue, too, and the readers didn't get it. O_o;; Soooooo, yeah...one's gotta appreciate the bitterness in order to enjoy these kinds of stories, I'm guessing.
Anywho, as disturbing as it was, it was certainly a beautiful story. No doubt 'bout that. :'3 And I swear Nitro+CHiRAL is trying to make it up to the fans by creating all these AU situations between the characters that just have us all cracking up. XD;;;;

I mean, uhh...like your language setting for your computer. You have to set it into Japanese so that when you play the game, it'll read your computer as Japanese, too, and let you play the game. (I think they do this to 'region-lock' their games. o.o )
To be able to know you've set it as Japanese already, if you look at your calendar, it'll be in Japanese instead of English. If it's in English, that means your computer's main language setting is still in English and you need it to be in Japanese in order to play it.

Oh, another game by them? I'm stil waiting patiently for the Togainu no Chi fantranslation. XD *sighhh* Looks like it's got the same artist, so.. yay, something else to make me wish I knew Japanese!
This is really sweet. I love the expressions, and the sense of.. unresolved longing to be together? I feel that, anyway. Lovely!

So far, I believe the Togainu no Chi fantranslation is still ongoing which makes me happy as I don't like it when translations just come to a halt. D: And, actually, I believe the artist of Lamento and Togainu no Chi resigned from Nitro+Chiral so they ended up hiring another artist to do Sweet Pool. Personally, I feel the new artist, Seeji Onitsuka, is a lot better than Kana Tatana.
Also...gosh, you are right on with the mood. I DON'T WANT TO SAY MUCH FOR THE SAKE OF SPOILAGE.

Yeah, it is. I hope they finish eventually, I'm so stoked to play it. XDD not that I can blame people who give up on fantranslations, it's a lot of work. And oh, huh. Well I like both, then. Lamento doesn't appeak to me as much, but Sweet Pool also looks cool.

Well, he was a normal, hyper boy...and being around the main character too much made him crazy. Long story short...the main character has this female parasite in him that releases pheromones to attract male parasites. The pheromones made his best friend crazy, and he became extremely obsessed over the main character (therefore, eating him. O_o; ) Since he is not compatible with the parasite, he continues on being psychotic until, he, errr, eats himself to death, I guess. XD;
Now the psycho one in the story is the guy in the first picture and his dad. LAWL
