Description Welcome fishies to my hook...

I got new inking pens! I don't know how many hours I spent on this...but a LONG time. The fish itself didn't take very long....but the BG was a nightmare!

I'm considering coloring it...either with watercolors (not exactly my specialty ) or in PS. I dunno yet...

I think the black and white make the patterns stand out but if colored I think it would be cool to see it all tie-dyed theme. or traditional type colors- like oriental theme. Either woul be nice

Thanks! Yeah, I think the swirls took three times as long as the actual fish. I'm not a very patient person...so this was a very interesting experience to say the least.

The tail is so beautiful like flames! The background is very hypnotizing, but it's very pleasant to watch. Inking pens are fun, but I'm stuck with digital art xD.

This is awesome! The background does indeed look like it took forever. I think Water colours would look awesome on this. Or maybe oil pastels and then go over them with water. ALthought that could be a super pain. haha

Oil pastels with water...I've never tried that before, but it sounds really cool! I might just do that. Thanks for the tip. (And nothing will be more of a pain on me than those insane swirly dashes. )

Don't mind at all. Color it, play around with it...whatever. Let me know how it turns out. I'd love to see!
