His name, in the dojo is Sensei Daisuke, but for Selena she just calls him Sensei. When Selena was a child her grandfather told her stories of how, in his youth, was known as The Dark Shadow and how he helped pokemon for no reward. She was interested on becoming a ninja and helping people when she gets older. Her grandfather looked at her for a short bit; saw that she has the spirit and determination to do it. Selena was taught under her grandfather the ways of martial arts during the day in the dojo with the other students and the ways of a ninja at night. When she was about ten years of age, practicing on a log dummy at home, training her martial arts. As she was going to land a hit on the dummy's neck her arm became a blade (leaf blade) that she accidentally cut off the dummy's head clean off. She was stun and surprised that she did that, so she went to tell her grandfather what happened. She thought that her sensei would be mad at her because she messed up the dummy, but he laughed with joy and hugged her. Telling her that she had learned a move on her own and that he's very proud of her. She then smiled at her grandfather, thinking of how proud she was to learn a move from training hard on her skills. Three years later, at night training with her grandfather, Selena was trying to keep up with him when going through the bamboo forest. Every time she got near he did a attack to almost knock her off balance on the bamboo, then go rush ahead to keep distance between her and him. She was getting frustrated that when she got close enough she yelled a battle cry and leafs on her body got off her (Magical Leaf) and attacked her grandfather, stunning him and making him remain on that bamboo to not fall off. Selena gasped in shock, got over to him and ask if he was alright. She kept saying that she was sorry for doing that; her grandfather looked at her and gave a small smile. He then asked, kindly, how she was able to unlock that move; she responded that she got frustrated and yelled out a "HRRRRAAAHHH!!!!" then that move happened. She then said that she didn't know she had that move, and asked where that move came from. Her grandfather told her that she was born with it, and he knew that one day she would be able to unlock her egg move.

As years went by Selena was working hard as a class student back in Japan, a waitress in her grandfather's restaurant, and training with her grandfather in secret of becoming a ninja. One day, when returning home from school, she saw her grandfather looking at some bills; things have been slow at the restaurant since a business restaurant, that was popular in another state, came into the neighborhood about two years ago. Her grandfather was having a hard time keeping up with the bills due to the restaurant not being busy as it used to. He told her that it might be time to move to the USA to have a good chance of making a living. She was going to object to the idea, but she felt that he was right. Things have been slow for the last two years, and a chance to have a better chance would be great! He even told her that For that week, she and her grandfather started packing up and heading to the USA, to a place called Happy Harbor, Rhode Island. He said that he had some old friends there that will be able to help them move in and get to know the place a bit better. As they arrived Selena felt nervous about seeing a new place, living in a new place, going to a new school, and being an "alien" to a new place. She can't train like she used to back in Japan with the bamboo forest, the clearing near their home, and proper places to meditate. Few days in school she was slowly adjusting, she wasn't used to things being different from her school in Japan, and she kept her distance from them at lunch because she didn't know how to friends with them or how to approach them in their way. When coming home one day she saw her grandfather at the table, holding a package in his arms. She asked what was in the package, but her grandfather stood up and gave it to her. She was confused about what was going on. She then opened it and saw a black outfit...No...A NINJA outfit! Her eyes widen with surprise, grabbed both pieces of the outfit and was in awe! Her grandfather said that she was ready to wear the outfit, and it was her seventeenth birthday gift from him. Selena smiled widely, hugged him and cried tears of joy. Later she started hearing rumors about something called the Young Justice League, or something. Teenagers who have super powers, training to be super heroes, and helping poor innocent pokemon in danger! She thought it would be a chance of a live-time to join as a hero, and the chance to save people.

Personality: She's mostly a quite, nice, focused girl. She likes things to remain the same, hates it when things get out of place. She gets upset if something isn't in it's proper place. When she's focus on something she doesn't let go of the target until it's done. She tries to find a good comfort zone in a nice quite place and she isn't used to loud noises. She's mostly a quite person when around strangers, but once she really opens up she's a talkative and nice. When she's in training she focuses hard on it, but if someone tries to interrupt her she would almost accidentally hit them, then she would apologize for almost hurting them. Being in a new country is hard for her, so she stays silent to know if they are friendly. She doesn't know how people in this country do things because she is so used to being in her country, Japan, that she doesn't know if things work the same here as they do in Japan. She tries to make friends, but she doesn't know how to in this country.

Hobbies: She works in her grandfather's restaurant for a job, but when she does have time off she likes to a place that's quite or has animals that she can see. She also likes to draw when she's in her comfort zone.

Extra: She has a pet joltik named Volts at her home with her grandfather. She hates the cold that she has to wear heavy clothing when walking in the cold. She has a fear of getting burnt by fire or any form of fire. Her grandfather's name translates as Dai- large, great. Suke-Help. At home she wears robes, because she feels comfortable in them at home. The reason why she wears like a band around her eyes is because what if someone was trying to track her down by using her eyes. It's a protective feature to have.
