This one got away from me a bit. It didn't really turn out like I had initially pictured it. She started out as a basic witch, but I kept tweaking the design until it wound up like it is now. The legs were giving me a bit of trouble which is why I added the trees to frame the image.
Pencil + ink with a level adjustment in Photoshop to darken the inks.

Very cool. She's got this 60's acid-dream feel to her too, I think because of the hat and the glasses (and the way the picture seems to 'bend' because of the framing).
Happy accident? Who knows! But it's quite fun as always Russ!

Thanks, George. The glasses or goggles were a last minute addition. I had overworked the eye that was showing; I usually know when I start using a lot of white paint to make adjustments that I've run into a problem. So the glasses were the fix for that. Glad you like the bend in the composition; I used to really enjoy painting warped cityscapes/ buildings so that's an aspect of drawing that is really fun for me play around with.

It's still amazing! I really love the tree framework! But I think my favorite part would have to be either the skulls on the shirt, or the top-hat!
