Description
A design from early in the Great Steam War of an unpowered railship, referred to as a railbarge. Because this vessel was unpowered, it required external propulsion, but was afforded more space for the accommodation of additional arms and armor. The Fortitude mounted a heavy cannon in the forward turret, two twin light cannons in side turrets, and a total of eight automatic rifles. The uncommonly-open deck and fire control cabin was typical of early designs that favored antipersonnel weaponry over protection from fragmentation.
