Hmmm , I was reading your journal - then subconciously or naturally clicked on 'the mists advance' and thought the 2 went perfectly well together - I know whats its like for a loved one to change and live as a shadow in a home , to slowly watch the mists advance , circle around them and finally take over their vivacious and livelly character . It sucks - but its life and as you mention we cherish knowing them when they were free !!!

Thank you, I appreciate your understanding. I had not put the picture and the journal together in my mind until your insightful comments. You are a very perceptive individual, and I want to thank you for that also. I am probably driven to pursue all of the many interests I have by the looming possibility of my own future mental decline. If however, I do not suffer the same issues that my Dad is dealing with, I will have many stories to share with my grandchildren of all the wonderful things I have seen, experienced, and learned!!
