Description A little dog died. It was a pug. It belonged to a friend of mine. I liked it, as long as it kept it’s distance. It had a friendly personality and it loved all people. It liked me. As long as it kept away from me, I liked it. I did not want to touch it though.

I believe these dogs were bred to be " ornamental". And in doing this, the skull of the dog has been smooshed in so the animals can not breath properly. An interesting example of mankind’s arrogance. This little dog made constant snorking sounds, like it had a bad cold. It constantly drooled and emitted phlegm from it’s mouth and nostrils. It could not breath through it’s nostrils, so it’s mouth was constantly open, its black tongue out, panting.

Mucus, little hairs and tiny particles of dog feces radiated from this animal. It's goop was constantly being discharged from every orifice, accompanied by the snargeling sound effects. It’s high pitched little barks, overexcited and trembling, wheezing and coughing spitting and farting. It had a lumbering gate which I assume was another manifestation of it’s skeletal manipulation.

I liked it because it was friendly to me, but I did not want to touch it.

I would like to have had it prepared and mounted by a taxidermist, or its head severed and placed in a jar, or freeze dried or mummified, so that I could remember and ponder it’s friendliness. I would like this, but I want none of the slimy infested goop that went with it.

So here, with my pen and paper, I have resurrected the dog in the only way I know how. I have taken liberties in its reinvention. I have used my "Artistic license". I have reincarnated him as a new type of being. One which I would very much like to animate to real life.

I am born too soon, for someday we will have the power to create life, and only our imaginations will limit what we will be able to create.

I feel sorry for pugs. They were never meant to be. I've known a fair amount of them and, and none of them could actually function like a proper dog. They have constant health problems, and they're pretty stupid. But they're always happy and friendly.

Stunningly drawn, and I liked how you kept some of the Chinese ornamentation in your own line-drawing. RS, myself.

someone should make you do a comic strip. It would be so easy to do a really great zombie shit.
And I agree with all the way about the dog subject.

Speechless! Not only because of this piece's technical and creative brilliance, but also because your thoughts on man's manipulation of the most varied species ever to exist is very near to mine. Another easy favorite.

Haha. Very imaginative stuff. Youve done some great pencil on this. I like the character and how its anatomy has been laid out. Interesting odd stuff.
