It's a good goal to work towards :3 I know a few people who were able to do it and they never took it off like Ginny never takes her flower corsage off XD Perhaps a drawing to get K-taru her glasses early :3

I had Opaline once but i sold it because I liked thief AF better. I can certainly see the appeal in it though
Practice makes perfect, just not when you're looking at it XD I can see some elements of it in the way your faces come out now as far as spacing of the features and proportions

I've never been able to have the Opaline, in all of the 7 years I've played. So fo me, it was hard work that went into getting the materials, farming gil for some pieces and getting that damned twinthread!
But it's worth it~ At least for a while~
I mostly wear it on bard though, since my thief rumps around killing bees all day.

I think I bought it for myself at one point but it only lasted about a week. I've drawn it and seen others who almost never take it off but didn't fit Ginny in my eyes. Especially as I got white mage higher and I got into blessed gear
Sometimes I feel like killing bees is the only thing thief has been reduced to be able to do in the game XD

Well, I am sorry to say that I did level thief because I needed money.
And yes, if I had gotten the Opaline set before my af-etc, then I would probably be more amazed at my other gear. We'll see how long I remain intruiged by it. I finally got it yesterday.

I've heard worse reason for leveling thief XD One of my closest friends refused to ever level it in part because he could just drag/lead me to go fight anything XD

My friend Balpesh was not a big fan of thief. Not sure if it was the job or the players he met but he hated it to the point that he would not level it, not even for treasure hunter. But since he had Ginny to drag around and I loved being on thief, he never needed to level it any higher than 15. I tried lots of times to get him to do it but he always said no XD

There aren't a lot of mirrors. And paladins don't party with a lot of other paladins. She's safe and sound.

I dunno, some of the gobbies have shiny armor and your sword has a reflection too. Plus the time running to camps and such :3 Lots of chances for a reflection to pop up here and there.

Curse you sleep you are a blessing and a curse at the same time! I love my sleep.. but I like being awake too. I have fallen asleep mid-drawing at times. It's weird because it feels like I just blinked for 20 minutes XP

Yeah, I hate those mini-naps too. Or when I fall asleep, dont dream and wake up feeling I just went to bed and closed my eyes. Happened a lot when I was younger.

I think I should be worried that it still happens to me... or that it happens to me on the train when I'm going to work or home XD It's gotten worse this past week with my cross country trip no only because of the time change but getting up early there everyday makes me wake up even earlier here. I end up waking up anywhere between 2-5am and then I'm sleepy the rest of the day.

The glasses were a pain to draw but I was more disappointed in how hard it was for me to draw just the basic character. The glasses look seems to have grown on me more as of late than before. Personality altering glasses look like theyre here to stay for this character though

I think I just enjoy drawing that character's hair mostly. Hard to believe now that she used to be the main female character I would always draw before FFXI

I think it really depends. I find both appealing, but the right type of glasses add a certain appeal to me as well. I do agree with MirroredSky's sentiment to some degree. It seems to apply A little in this regard, looking at the picture.
I like both aspects of this picture a lot. It's a nice duality.

Glasses look has only started appealing to me recently but still a pain to draw. It does help me feel like I've created two separate characters and gives me a chance to develop two different personalities in one body

Not really any different then with super heroes. Bruce Wayne by day, when he puts his cowl on, Batman by night. Glasses could do the same, just maybe not to that extreme of an effect.

You mean like Superman... I mean Clark Kent? XD Most ridiculous disguise ever. What if he got water on his white shirt? Exposed in a flash XD I agree though the glasses with a few changes can be subtle enough to throw most people off.
