Been away for the summer, but I'm back to my yarn stash and have a few plans in the works. Hi everybody!

For those who don't know, this is a Pikmin, from the Gamecube game of the same name (though a Wii U version is coming out soon!). Guiltily I admit to never having played the actual game, but Olimar is a beast in SSBB.

This is a "commission" of sorts, though the payment is just to comp shipping and material costs, for a friend's boyfriend's birthday. I almost got the red one done today as well, but not quite. Just the the leaf to make and he'll be done as well. As such, you can't really commission these little guys off me, according to the pattern I used's author.

Speaking of, been ages since I used a pattern. Not freehanding for once is kind of nice. And if you'd like to make your own little Pikmin buddies, the pattern is super well written and easy to read, and available right here: www.etsy.com/ca/listing/824409… for ~5$.

(Specs:
- About 3.5 hours from start to finish, and I'm a bit out of swing
- Acrylic Impeccable and Red Heart yarns, 3.5mm hook, stuffed with pillow stuffing
- About 7.5" tall)

Thanks very much! The ears are actually a very useful shape to learn, for elves or other fairy like creatures and such.

DO IT! They're very fun, and not too time intensive, once you get the hang of the 4st magic circle.

I would, but the whole you're not allowed to sell what you make really turns me off from it >:C But it's tempting

This is super cute and looks just like the Pikmin.  Been a fan since the Gamecube and have now got Pikmin3 on the WiiU!!

Going to have a look at the pattern as I'm sure several people I know would love to have these!  Great Job!

I highly recommend the pattern; all easy stitches (though the stem and arms are challenging, because they're only 4 sts in the round), and very well written. Good luck making them!

I cannot begin to describe how much Pikmin 2 I have been playing lately, and this just reminds me how low I'm running on Yellow Pikmin. Awesome job! The next step is to use thread and one of those tiny metal hooks! Make them actual size!

How do you make the flower stand up? Seems like you would need a stick or something.

My amazing electrical wire, which I use in all my posables.
