I tried to recreate my deity, Esheye Telari in the style of Lore Olympus by Rachel Smythe.

I have done so with minimal success because our styles are vastly different. I am also not sold on the colors (usually, her characters have 1 color instead of multiple. And I couldn't figure out how she paints, only a bit of how she does anatomy. So this is the first version and I'd appreciate feedback for when I try again. If anyone has any thoughts for how to make it look more like how she does it, I'd appreciate it.

This was a challenge I wanted to do after I witnessed the end of the last arc on episode 190. I was so pissed (because the creator just is too good at keeping her audience invested through incredible storytelling with evil cliffhangers in every episode seriously why!!!!) that I imagined what would happen if my character, a deity that would be more powerful than Zeus came in and just table flipped everything because the sheer injustice of that ending was infuriating, as a lot of fans can testify.

I ended up daydreaming about the entire scenario (which ended up with Esheye taking Zeus's power away and distributing it to all the Gods and Goddesses in a rotation - as in, a new leader every day - without the ability to undo it). Zeus is such a horrible character (wonderfully written) and after all the gaslighting he and another equally awful god have done, I just wanted to yeet them. I stewed on this for several months before finally deciding to give it a shot about a week or so ago and I've been experimenting since then.

I am honestly wondering if I should write out the scenario I dreamed up in a one-shot. Mind you, in that original daydream, Esheye was black and white because she symbolizes balance and is the only deity to have the essence (DNA/blood/whatever) of both Heaven and Hell (demon/angel) and she is the Judge of Reality (aka the universe). She basically oversees all other dimensions with their own gods (like LO) so her inputting herself into it and stealing the show (much like a certain goddess in LO does in that very trial) but instead of vacating when certain things happen, Esheye would swat away any means to stop her and then rip all guilty parties a new one. And since Zeus doesn't have scars like his fellow traitors, Esheye would give him some right in the places that would be truly embarrassing for him. By the way, I use the term deity because of the lore surrounding Esheye. God is one version of a deity (three deities who when you take the first letter of their name, spells GOD) so while I'll keep the whole god/goddess for the LO characters, Esheye Telari is a deity. If you want to take that as a higher rank, go for it. It's basically true. I wanted to design a character that was extremely overpowered but has flaws and that is who Esheye Telari is. She's "as close to being perfect as a deity can get, which is still hardly perfect at all considering that deities tend to be less perfect than mortals given how extreme they are".

Seriously, the guy is awful and is one of the worst characters (again, this is on purpose and wonderfully done because it's supposed to piss the audience off) and genuinely deserves it. Anyway, Esheye was supposed to be Black/White, but my dramatic @$$ demanded color, which probably is what make this so annoying. So there will be at least 1 other version and I plan to make her outfit more in-line with their attire, I will try to use brushes that are rougher to match the style Rachel Smythe uses. And all in all, this was Take 1. I don't mind working on that one-shot in the meantime while I figure this out, so let me know if you want it.

So, let me know what you think. It's hard changing from one style to another. My computer wasn't cooperating a lot of the time, so I gave up on some things. Hopefully, the second version will be better.
