Grateful thanks to for granting me permission to draw his fab photo of Sam go check out his whole gallery for fantastic photos [link]

Drawn on black mount board (roughly A4 size), using Caran d'Ache supracolour soft pencils

Time taken approx 15 hours.

I see you've done some fabulous birds in graphite, coloured pencil is much easier to show the feather texture!
